Heating system powerflush

Our customer advised us that they had been having problems with their heating system.

We carried out a disolved iron test on the water in the heating system, which indicated they required a powerflush.

Using the Kamco powerflushing pump and equipment we isolated the heating tank, and set up the equipment outside the property.

The hoses were connected where the pump is located in the roof and commenced flushing with water to remove the bulk of the debris.

Acid is then added, the boiler is fired to heat the water and aid the chemical reaction with the system.

Each radiator is flushed individually and thermal imaging camera is used to check the results.

Clean water is flushed through the whole system and checked for total dissolved solids and PH.

Inhibitor is added to the system to prevent corrosion. Back To List
